Money Blogs – How To Structure Your Ads

Sunday, January 3rd, 2010

Many things have been written about how to create the perfect blog that makes the most money. Everybody knows that content is king and that for the content to actually make money, you have to put ads on your page where people can click and possibly make a purchase. Any guru’s manual on how to start a blog will always make mention of one of the most popular ad-generating programs for your blog - Google Adsense. While this works by having people click on ads and earning you an amount for each click, it doesn’t mean that their mere presence in your blog will actually have people clicking on them. When talking about these ads, most usually forget about a basic element that may make or break their chances of being clicked. What you need is a good way to structure those ads on your page so they tend to be more attractive to readers. For example, Goodgle Adsense is a good program to have on your blog. You simply make options that indicate what type of products you want advertised and the program will look for such ads and paste them on your page. The issue is, putting those ads on any portion of your page doesn’t necessarily bring the same results. Putting those ads at the top of your post will probably not be good for your blog because people might feel discouraged by the fact that all they see initially are ads. A better place for them would probably be the bottom of your page where readers will eventually get to if they’re serious enough about reading your posts. If they find anything interesting, they’ll more likely click on it because they’ve had the satisfaction of reading a good post. Clicking on that ad won’t be a chore. The way your ads look will also have a way of influencing whether or not your readers are going to click on them, much less stay on your page long enough to read your posts. When you decide to have those ads on your page, you actually also have the option to choose which font colors to use. This is very important because a loud color combination can be very stressing to the eyes and whether or not readers are aware of it, they’re likely to respond the same way – click out. Make sure that when visitors come to read your blog, it will be an initially delightful experience. Don’t make them have to criticize a page that is poor in color coordination. Whether you like it or not, visual appeal accounts for a significant portion of why people will stay, read your blog and click on your ads. Having a blog make money is not an easy task but it not gargantuan, either. This means that whatever formula worked for the successful ones, they won’t be too hard to figure out as long as you know what what you’re doing. Then how to make money blogging will start to come naturally.

Internet Marketing And The Role Of Email Marketing

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers - as we do - and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

While there are many more aspects to internet marketing than just permission-based email marketing, email has definitely been the cornerstone on which our business is built.

Jamie Lewis’ Copy N Profit

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

Is it true that you can make money almost right away using copy n profit tactics from Jamie Lewis, like he says?

We’re going to delve into it right now to find out whether it’s true or not.

It’s a really appealing idea - what person wouldn’t like to just reproduce another person’s success and make money? Regrettably or fortuitously depending on who you’re talking with their are laws and rules which forestall unqualified copying.

When you have permission or simply making small alterations its much simplier and less of a hassle to copy something that’s already shown its ability to work.

You cut your chances for failure way down when you copy or ‘model’ a proven system.

I have looked on the internet and have found that others are interested in something that has held my interest for some time.

Sure this might not be easy but this is what I got myself into, to find out what’s really going on and to let you know so you could take a look for yourself and decide if it’s what’s right for you.

You are most likely tired of clutter, scams, and crap on the internet. You want the good stuff instead so you need someone like me to take care of it for you.

There’s a lot of scammers out there but ever since they got smart and started using professional looking advertising, they seem believable.

The scam business is alive and well thriving and even increasing in this terrible economy.

“Tell me what makes this tick.”

This is a movie that I discovered, but you will need to look about a quarter of the way down the page to see it.

Though it seemed pretty straightforward, I’m always skeptical, so I was looking for the hidden ‘catch’.

It has had negative online reviews, but mostly from consumers who did not complete the program.

Most of the comments and discussion around it are positive and that’s all you can ask for. Every type of service, training, system, or product was devised by imperfect human beings, so none can be perfect.

Look at the system right now and determine for yourself it if makes sense and is right for you.

Blogging can be Profitable. Main Principles

Monday, July 27th, 2009

Can you imagine that the moment you are reading this there are people who earn money just buy marketing their bog? May be you also have a website, and you might wonder why it doesn’t work for you too then? Do you want to have your own blog that will get traffic to your website and apply for your products or services? If you do, then continue reading to find out the key principles of how it can be done best.
You should start with having a very specific message which is relevant to all the information you provide. Generalize everything is is the fastest way to get nowhere on the internet. We live in an economy now where the jack of all trades will either have to the best in one, or face extinction. Pick a topic you you prefer best and you would like to find out more about and keep to it. It will keep you motivated if you blog every day and create interesting content if you are writing about your passion or interest. You might consider hiring accredited seo company to help you out with paid inclusion and understanding analytics, but there is something you can do on your own too.
The next principle is to plug in to other people’s blogs and forums and into the social network marketing world. Being alone doesn’t help you in the internet marketing world and will make you as irrelevant as the proverbial tree in the forest. You simply have to become popular with other people if you want to be successful in online business. So how is this done?
You might disagree, but being popular doesn’t really mean being a professional and more about respecting people and being likable. People buy from people they like. Even if it costs more. Comment on other people’s blogs and be sincere and positive and after a while people will become interested in what you have to say.
The last principle is the most significant in being successful at anything, and that is persistence. You need to be patient and insistent to succeed in business. A little blogging consistently is much more effective than a lot of blogging done inconsistently. Write on your blog every day. Do at least one post, and give people a reason to come back to it. Napoleon Hill, the author of the classic “Think and Grow Rich” said that failure cannot cope with persistence. This is one of the wisest things ever spoken; don’t forget it and work persistently.
To sum up, always get in touch with people who comment on your blog. Send them an invitationto join your mailing list or RSS feed and follow up with them consistently. Persistence will help you to bring trust. If people care for your opinion they will eventually come around. Just be patient and try to act like a friend, not expert. If you follow this advice and remain committed to one chosen topic, your expertise will stand out.
So get out there now and put these principles into practice, and don’t forget that being patient, persistent and respect for others is the secret to success in marketing.

What is Blogging? – Find Out Today

Friday, July 24th, 2009

Do you have lots of ideas that you would like to share to other people? Do you have comments about certain issues that you want to share to others? Maybe you have found new ideas that you would like to teach to others? Do you love to write articles that you want many people to read? If your answer to one or all of these is yes then blogging is for you. What is blogging? Generally, blogging is described as a way of writing about something that you want other people to read over the internet. It is a way of expressing your thoughts and feelings for others to know.

However, blogging can take a lot of meaning, depending on who will be the one doing it. What is blogging for many young people? For the youth, blogging is usually a way to socialize. It is their venue to connect with the people their age, with the people who share the same interests. For example there are social networks that allow users to write blogs. To keep your friends on coming back, just keep writing interesting blogs that will catch their attention.

What is blogging for people interested in academics and studying? For professors, scholars and students, it is a way for them to share and exchange ideas about topics like the newest development in the search for the cure for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome or for the latest techniques in robotics. By writing blogs, they can present their researches for possible comments and suggestions. They can also reach out to people who are uninterested in academic stuff and would rather surf the Internet than read these blogs.

What is blogging for entrepreneurs? It’s one way for them to advertise their products and raise web traffic. Some entrepreneurs create their own blogs where they can post promotional gimmicks, testimonials and reviews. Thos into newbie marketing buy ad spaces in other blogs to reach possible customers. There are some who sponsor blogs for promotion.

There are others who consider blogging as their main source of income. These are the people whom entrepreneurs go to for promotion of their products if they cannot or do not want to create their own blogs. Businesses look for blogs with niche topics that are directly related or in some way associated with their products. It’s a rule of SEO For example, people selling cellular phones or computers look for blogs that talk about different gadgets. They get to be exposed to their target market.

Some bloggers write blogs to create niche blogs so they can attract advertisers. They can just simply write about a certain topic and offer ad spaces for products related to what they write. Others write something and then mention a product name which is linked to that product’s own website. They can also offer to write good reviews for certain products and get paid for doing it.

If you want to have your own blog, examine your intentions. Ask yourself why you want to have a blog and then tailor fit your blog according to your intentions. You can even have several blogs to answer your different needs. There is no rule that says that you have to be confined in just one area only. There are a lot of possibilities that go along with blogging. You just have to explore blogging and benefit from it.

Popups and Spyware Protection? Why Users Should Not Just Rely on the Google and MSN Toolbars!

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

This article exposes the limitations of the most common and often free ways to prevent and eliminate popups in the wider context of adware and spyware protection.

Adware is a popular term to describe any software which can play, display or download advertisements on computers. Some adware are programmed to invade the privacy of the users and are commonly referred to as spyware. These programs obtain then share personal information about the users, without their knowledge or consent.

Adware popups have become a common irritation for most users and many are now looking for free ways to disable them. The preferred solution for many users is to rely on the popup blocker function of either the Google or MSN toolbar. Only a minority of users know about the link between popups and spyware, and even fewer still, take the right steps to protect themselves. Most users only concentrate on blocking popups. The fact remains, that both the removal of adware and spyware as well as their prevention are necessary to protect the users privacy, safeguard the integrity of their computers and achieve a pleasant user experience on line. By contrast blocking popups simply creates a false sense of security. This is because the most serious problem with popups is not just that they are “irritating”, but rather that they are often the symptom of spyware infection, as is demonstrated by popups appearing when users are not even connected to the internet.

Changing the browser settings is free and a step in the right direction

Blocking adware popups whilst browsing is easy enough. Changing the privacy settings so that popups can no longer appear on screen can be done as follows:

·      Select Control Panel in your computer

·      Click on the Internet Options icon

·      Click on the Privacy tab.

·      There is a box next to “Turn on Pop Up Blocker”.

·      Tick this box and you will block adware popups.

Once the settings have been changed, users should adjust the privacy levels on their computer. Another option is to install the Google or MSN toolbar. Security when browsing the Internet can be improved when using these toolbars. For more information, click on free popup blockers.

But, how about true protection? Are most users missing the bigger picture?

Many users simply forget to remove the adware and spyware from their computer and just focus on blocking adware and spyware. Popup blockers such as those offered by the Google and MSN toolbars, whilst useful are just dealing with one aspect of privacy and system integrity protection. For more information click on block spyware.

At this point, it is recommended to consider more broadly, how to protect the users’ privacy as well as preserve their computer integrity from spyware and adware attacks. In addition, users should run the latest version of their anti-virus software, then remove the adware and spyware on their computer, using appropriate tools. Adware and spyware are often downloaded without the users being aware of them.

The most popular adware and spyware removal tools can both block and get rid of adware and spyware. The most popular adware and spyware removal programs are constantly being kept up to date as they rely on research teams to update the software in order to deal with the latest threats as they first occur. Using adware and spyware removal programs, which can also block popups, deals with the root causes of the problem rather than just the symptoms of adware and spyware attack. This approach is therefore more effective than the reliance on free popup blockers. For more information click on adware spyware removal.
